Violist, Graduated with Honors from BM in Music Performance from the University of Colima (Mexico) 2012, and MM with Honors and Academic Achievement Award from San Francisco State University in the Spring of 2018.

Irving participated in Master Classes of the various Academies of the IUBA of the University of Colima; With the Professors: Boris Vayner in 2009, winter 2011, Michael Klotz in 2010, and summer 2011, 2014 Sergey Kravchenko, Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory and 2014 Yunil Jin. Besides participating Abroad: in the 2012 ELAN International Music Festival Texas, with Professors Joseph Gold, Richard Young, Alexander Treger; in 2014 and 2015 at the St. Petersburg String Academy Wichita, KS., with Professor Boris Vayner.

As a BM student, Irving performed in various orchestras and venues of renown prestige such as the Palace of Fine Arts at the hall Manuel Maria Ponce in Mexico City, Mexico, 2007 and 2009 respectively among other cities throughout the country. In 2013 as a guest for a festival in which the Mexican composer Arturo Márquez was the organizer and director. While in the Master's program at SF State, Irving won a competition to perform with Bay Area-based Delphi Trio in 2018 at the Maybeck Studio in Berkeley, CA.

As a Chamber musician, Irving has taken part in masterclasses and collaboration with various Chamber Music ensembles such as the St. Petersburg String Quartet, Amernet String Quartet, Trio Broz, Quarteto Latinoamericano, Alexander String Quartet, and V. Saradjan.

Irving has served as a Music Educator at various levels from K-College levels teaching Theory and Instrumental classes since 2008.

Irving moved to San Francisco in 2017 and remains an active musician on a regular basis with groups in the Bay Area since 2016 such as Santa Cruz Symphony, Santa Cruz Ballet Theater, Berkeley Symphony, Merced Symphony, among others.

When Irving is not on work-related activities, he likes spending time with his family and friends, camping, foraging, and maintaining instruments (Certified String Instruments Technician).
