Biography

Performed with Abbado, Mehta, Maazel, Boulez, Leinsdorf, Masur, Dutoit, Tan Li Hua, Rowicki, Tintner. Worked with Messiaen, Xenakis, Cage, Feldman, Zappa, Stockhausen, Radulescu, Takemitsu. Eighty recording projects (Goethe prize, Diapason d'or); Chevalier dans l'ordre des arts et des lettres. Artistic Director of festivals in London, Sydney, Kotschach-Mauthen, La Bourgogne. Founding Director of the School of Music and Dance (2002). Studied piano in Sydney with Alexander Sverjensky (pupil of Rakhmaninov, Glazunov) and at Warsaw Chopin Academy with Zbigniew Drzewiecki.
