James Witzel Jazz Group

The James Witzel Jazz Group performs, led by the guitar lecturer and alumnus. Free.
While an undergraduate at SF State in the 1970s, James Witzel composed film scores and original music for his jazz group and worked with artists such as John Handy, Mark Isham, Art Lande, Mel Martin, Glen Cronkhite and Mike Clark. In 1979 Witzel studied with Jack Wilkins in New York City with a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
