Biography

I received a B.A. (1967) and M.A. (1969) in Piano Performance from SF State. I have taught here from the 70's to the present except for a 6-year stint in the commercial piano performance field. I teach every level of piano class and activity classes for piano majors. For the last several years, I have also accompanied the department's large performing groups (choral, voice performance, and opera). I play widely in the Bay Area, including accompanist with Masterworks Chorale of San Mateo, accompanying UC Santa Cruz operas and recitals; & as member of the SF Wind Ensemble.
